New York-based songwriter Kathryn Williams has spent her lifetime playing with words.

A former theater/film critic and entertainment journalist with degrees in drama criticism (MFA Columbia) and journalism
(BA Ohio State), Kathryn has published poetry and short
stories, written a children’s screenplay, theatrical
monologues, a near-novel, and cartoon captions. Currently she's writing words and music.

Her eclectic tastes have produced eclectic sounds: Kathryn has written songs across many genres, from jazz, pop/rock and r&b to musical theater and hymns. While she would love to call herself a singer-songwriter, the truth is she can’t sing.
